INGREDIENTS:
1 Jamaican chocolate/cocoa ball, grated
2 cups water
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cinnamon leaves or bay leaves (optional)
1 cup coconut milk
½ cup evaporated milk
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp grated nutmeg
Sweetener of choice, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Bring 2 cups of water to a boil on medium heat with cinnamon sticks and leaves.
2) Add the coconut milk and evaporated milk and allow the pot to come back up to a boil.
3) Stir in the cocoa. Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
4) Add a dash of salt, vanilla, nutmeg, and sweeten to taste to the sweetener of your choice. Stir the tea very well, then remove from the heat.
