Crispy Roasted Brussel Sprouts
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb brussel sprouts
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Balsamic glaze
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Remove the ragged outer leaves of the brussel sprouts, cut clean them VERY WELL with vinegar and water, then give them a final thorough water rinse.
2) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Use a knife to stem and halve the brussel sprouts. In a bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the brussel sprouts and season with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3) Add the seasoned brussel sprouts to a baking sheet, then roast for 30 minutes (or until crispy to your liking), flipping halfway through.
4) Place into a serving dish and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve right away while hot.
Note: This is a small portion and serves about 3-4. Adjust measurements for the number of people you plan to serve.
